The History of Traxion

Formed by Paul Ashman in 1998, Traxion Distribution Ltd was established to take the role of sole NZ distribution agent for Superwinch. It wasn't long before Traxion negotiated exclusive agency agreements with other manufacturers like Premier Hazard, Lodar, Lewis Winch and Touchtronics. This early expansion cemented Traxion's place in the New Zealand market as a key distributor of winches and complementary products.
During more recent times Traxion have continued to expand their range of complementary products with further Winch agencies like Kinematics commercial duty hydraulic lifting winches , DP Winch heavy hydraulic recovery winches and Prolift Winch AC powered compact hoists allowing Traxion to offer winching solutions for virtually any winching application imaginable.
Paying attention to customer needs and requirements has always been a key focus of Traxion and has allowed them to pinpoint other areas to round out their product range. Traxion now provide New Zealands only one stop shop for towing equipment and also offer quality 4x4 products like the F1 Air compressor.
When asked Paul Ashman is enthusiastic about the level of service Traxion is able to offer:

Paul believes Traxion's key strength is their ability to offer extensive experience within the industry combined with access to the worlds largest range of winches. This he says ensures that all their clients get the best possible solution to meet their needs.
